When you’re ready to publish your book, you want to be confident that it’s the best it can possibly be. One way to do that is to have independent readers review your book as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) ahead of publishing, to recommend areas for improvement and provide you with reviews and testimonials to use in your marketing efforts. We’ll help you produce your ARC to distribute to readers and reviewers in advance of publication. ARCs are available in both print and digital formats to accommodate reader preferences.

Who should read your ARC? Your friends and family want to support your writing, and as a result, they have a tendency to overlook details which could have an impact on your readers’ experiences. For this reason, we recommend distributing your ARC to industry professionals, bloggers, other writers in your genre, and readers who will give you unbiased and objective feedback.

In addition to your ARC files, we’ll also provide you with a clean, semi-formatted copy of your manuscript in a Word doc format so that you can quickly and easily make revisions to the very latest version of your manuscript.

All of our ARCs include:

  • A basic and clean version of your manuscript in print or eBook formats.
  • A disclaimer advising readers that it is an uncorrected proof
  • An informational page about the book and expected publication details
  • A Call-to-Action for readers to provide feedback and/or reviews
  • A semi-formatted Word doc version of your manuscript *

ARCs  start at $125**

Print ARCs are in a PDF format and eBook ARCs are in .ePub and .mobi formats.

*The Word doc version is only semi-formatted and is NOT suitable for publication. It should only be used for editing and manuscript revisions.

**The above pricing is based on a single format for fiction works, under 100k. There may be additional costs for non-fiction books, books exceeding 100k, and ARCs requiring unusual or highly intensive formatting. For an exact cost of Samples, please send us an email with the details of your publication needs and we’ll get back to you promptly. We do not require finished cover art for ARCs. We include a temporary cover with the title and author name if the cover art is not provided.
